Legion

I confess, I'm a big fan of angel movies or things like that! But I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with this one....

Legion has a good story to explore, which is the faith and love that the Archangel Michael has on humanity...but the way that they putted that into a movie was bad...

I always thought that angels were good, and I prefer still think on that, but is hard for me to believe in some things that they talked about...

Anyway, is always good to see Angels movies and stuff, but please, do that properly!!

The Protector

Hey Guys!

This movie surprised me...it has the best capoeira fight ever! The story is terrible, really, but the fight scenes are amazing!

Tony Jaa is a professional Muay Thai fighter, and all the scenes were made by him, so, the moves and things that this guy do in the movie worth the price that you're gonna pay for the DVD or Blu-ray

A must-have movie for people that like martial arts movies!

Again, I'm not gonna comment the story...it doesn't matter.....lol

Mortal Kombat

Hey ya!

Ok, I know....just movies based in games today right?

The answer is yes....lol

I have to say a few things about Mortal Kombat, the first is: The first movie is the best! the second....well...

Christopher Lambert is the perfect Rayden, but he doesn't make the second one...reason enough to skip the second...

Well, let's go back to the first movie. I'm not the best person to tell you guys the whole story around the Mortal Kombat Universe, but what I can do is tell you if this is a good movie to watch....and you can bet you sorry a** that this one is great!

The story is about Liu Kang and his searching for the killer of your brother (Shang Tsung). In the meantime, Sonya Blade pursuits Kano (another MK character). Johnny Cage, a martial arts actor try to prove that he's not a fake...all of these guys are gonna fight to defend the realm of Earth in Mortal Kombat!

Street Fighter II V

Hey ya

I used to watch this when I was a boy on a brazilian channel called SBT.
The DVD set doesn't have audio or subtitles in brazilian portuguese (of course) but that brings to you the original japanese sound and the english one with subtitles.

For the fans of Street Fighter, this is the best anime/movie ever made about this fighting game...

The story tells when Ryu and Ken had 17 years old, and they decided to travel the whole world after some of the best street fighters!



There are all the 29 episodes in this case and a lot of fun and fights included!

The Time Traveler's Wife (2009)

Last week I watched this one, and well...I really like Eric Bana and Rachel MacAdams, but analysing just the story, some people could easily feel lost with the tavel-through-the-time thing...but anyway, if you get that probably your gonna like it!

Eric Bana is a guy that travel through the time and met a girl that he falls in love...so, he goes and comes every time to see her....It is a good love story, and the rest you can see by yourself!

500 days of Summer

Yo Again!!

This one was funny...cause when i started to watched this movie i though Summer was the season, but is a girl...lol

So, the movie tells a story about 500 days with this girl! At the beginning I doubted that this movie could bring me a good time, but fortunately i was wrong!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt from "Inception" and "10 things I hate about you" is a guy that falls in love with the new secretary Summer, and the whole movie tells what happen to them in this 500 days! It is fun, and I was surprise with the last scene of the movie. Of course , I'm not gonna spoil that, but I have to say guys, that worth the movie!

What can i said....The Notebook, by far, is the best romantic movie of our generation...I still remember the first time that I saw that, in that time i wouldn't give a two stars judging by the cover, but after saw...man, watching that was the best thing that i did!

This story is about a poor guy that falls in love with a rich girl, and by the way, she falls in love with him as well,lol...

It is a simple story and more close to be real and you easily identify yourself with the characters...

The Limited Edition is wonderful, come with a artwork made specially for this edition.

Dungeons & Dragons

Two words to describe that: Marlon Wayans...

Man this guy is fun, and he makes the film a lot enjoyable because of his jokes!

Of course, as a fan of the RPG I have to say that i expected more, but just analysing the film by itself was really good!

The plot tells about the a reign ruled by wizards, and the princess wants equal rights for common people as wizards have! Of course there are the bad guy that wants the power to himself and the heroes that wants to defend that! the result? A good adventure and lots of fun!

Remember the Titans

Man, this movie rocks!

Denzel is a great actor! i saw this movie a thousand of times!

 Inspired by real events, the story starts as a new coach of the Titans, a football team previously coached by the white Bill Yoast, begins coaching the team. The new coach, Herman Boone (Denzel), is black, and his team is a mixture of black players and white players.

 In the Beginning Bill Yoast didn't like Boone, but then a serie of events happened and they started to build a friendship that crossed the barrier of racism.




The actor of The Notebook, Ryan Gosling is also on this movie!

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Platinum Series Special Extended Edition)

Yo guys!

Today I'm gonna talk about my favorite movie ever....of course i don't like just this one, but the whole trilogy...that is The Lord of the Rings Platinum Series.

This special dvd brings a complete new experience to the Lord of Rings fans (including me) because you have a lot to see, specially on the third movie that gives you 50 fantastic minutes plus!

It's a four disc set with a beautiful case and plus, maps and apendices!



A lot of questions are answered and you can know a little bit more of each character!

I loved to had spend almost 4 hours watching this epic! Of course, now you have the Blu ray version, which is much better, but if you couldn't the DVD will suit you well.

Amazon is a great place to find that cheaper! Enjoy!

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind on Blu ray

Yo Guys

Another film of  Hayao Miyazaki, Nausicaa tells a story about a young princess of the Valley of the Wind who gets involved into a struggle with Tolmekia, a kingdom who tries to use an ancient weapon to fend off the Ohms (Big insects).

If you think that looks like Avatar, but this one was created 26 years ago, so you can call Hayao a true pioneer in this subject of preserve-the-nature thing...

The version on blu ray brings a great experience and if you watch on this version once I'm pretty sure that you're not gonna try the DVD...lol

Laputa Castle in the Sky

Yo Guys!

This is gonna be easy cause I just love japanese stuff, but this is about movies right?

Laputa is wonderful and the version on blu ray makes you fell inside the movie...nothing compare the blu ray to the DVD version.

Starting with the high sound quality and spetacular drawings, you're gonna transport yourself side-by-side to Pazu and Sheeta towards the flying castle of Laputa




One more thing, it's a Hayao Miyazaki movie, and you know him right?

When you talk about japanese cartoons he is the guy! He has a Oscar for "Spirited Away" and was nominated for "Howl's Moving Castle" so if you have the oportunity to watch a film of him do it!

First Post and First Tips!

Hi Guys what's up!

It's official now! the DVD Crazyness has been created to help you to decide which movie is the best to rent or buy, or even if that worth a passing by to the cinema.

The first tip goes to this awesome movie "Crazy Stupid Love" that was released a few days in australians cinemas  and i will give you some reasons to see this one

- Steve Carell! Yes the guy that did " 40 years old virgin" and " Get Smart" is on this one, and believe me, this worth a lot when you want to laught a lot!

- Nothing is more fun than see a guy trying to catch a girl with a stupid talk!

Well I'm not gonna spoil the movie but next time the analysis will be more specific....come on this is just the first time....maybe next time i can write in portuguese!
